The New Hampshire Bird Records Endowment Fund supports:

  • Bird sighting data collection and quality control
  • The New Hampshire Bird Records publication (or other mechanisms for sharing bird information)
  • Management of NHeBird
  • Archiving and organizing rare bird information
  • Preserving historic data


About the Fund

Established in 2011 through the generosity of two donors, the Fund ensures the long-term collection, organization, and publication of New Hampshire bird sighting data. Its flexibility also allows for support of alternative projects that contribute to bird knowledge and conservation in New Hampshire.

Mission Statement: “To support the collection, organization, quality control, distribution, dissemination, publication, promotion, preservation, and storage of New Hampshire bird sighting information.”

Ways to Contribute

  1. Donate Online: Click here and select “New Hampshire Bird Records Endowment” under Gift Designation.
  2. Mail a Check: Make your check payable to New Hampshire Audubon and include a note designating it for the New Hampshire Bird Records Endowment Fund. Send to:
    NH Audubon, 84 Silk Farm Rd., Concord, NH 03301
  3. Make a Stock Gift: Visit this page and direct your gift to the Fund. Please notify Hope Jordan, Development Director, at hjordan@nhaudubon.org or 603-224-9909 x307.
  4. Leave a Bequest: Sample language for your will or trust:
    “I give and bequeath [___ percent of my estate; OR the sum of $______ from my estate; OR all the rest, residue, or remainder of my estate] to the New Hampshire Bird Records Endowment Fund, a permanently restricted fund of the Audubon Society of New Hampshire, 84 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH, to support bird sighting data collection, utilization, and publication, as well as other purposes described in the Fund establishment language.”

For legal purposes, NH Audubon’s corporate name is the Audubon Society of New Hampshire. NH Audubon is an IRS-approved 501(c) (3) charitable organization. Our federal ID is 02-6005322.
